Guangdong
Guangdong is the home of Phoenix Dan Cong oolongs - single-tree oolongs from Phoenix Mountain with extraordinary aromatic complexity.
Guangdong province in southern China produces Phoenix (Feng Huang) Dan Cong oolongs from Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou. Dan Cong (single bush) tea is harvested from individual ancient trees, each producing a tea with distinct aromatic character. Phoenix Dan Cong is famous for its 'naturally fragrant' style - without any added flowers or scenting, the leaves emit aromas mimicking specific fruits and flowers (orchid, almond, honey, ginger flower, magnolia, peach). Each named variety (xiang) corresponds to a specific aromatic profile and often a specific ancient mother tree.
Tea types: Black Tea (1), Oolong Tea (8), Yellow Tea (1).
