Tea Timer
Multi-steep tea timer with audio alerts for Western and gongfu brewing.
How it works
Select a tea or a custom time. The timer counts down with audio and visual alerts. For gongfu sessions, it tracks each infusion separately and adjusts the time as the leaves open.
Default steep times by tea type
- Green tea: 1–2 minutes at 70–80°C
- White tea: 2–4 minutes at 80–85°C
- Oolong tea: 3–5 minutes at 85–95°C (Western) or 15–30 seconds (gongfu)
- Black tea: 3–5 minutes at 95–100°C
- Pu-erh: 3–5 minutes at 95–100°C (Western) or 10–20 seconds (gongfu)
